Etienne Brunel - Who We Are

Mireille Etienne Brunel grew up in Lyon, the daughter of a silk maker, and learned her craft in Paris at l'Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture. Shortly afterward, she created Etienne Brunel, combining her name with that of her husband Jean Luc Brunel. For 10 years, she created and distributed her prêt à porter collections in the most stylish boutiques around the world.

In 1997, Mireille began designing "paper" wedding dresses with unusual materials that filter and diffuse light to remarkable effect. In her showroom at 37 rue de Grenelle in Paris, she has developed an approach that is both highly personal and in the spirit of high fashion.
